Biography

Dr. Nancy is known by her patients for combining her unique style of acupressure with needling to support often dramatic effects on the whole body—both physically and emotionally. She always aims to get patients better as soon as possible and administers a customized sequence of Chinese medicine modalities to each patient based on the big picture of the patient’s symptoms and bodily condition. She believes that palpation is an important part of both accurate diagnosis and effective point selection and does not use any brand of acupuncture needles on patients that she has not tested on herself for quality and comfort. Her journey with a difficult recovery from surgery as well as her love of movement have fostered her special interest in helping to restore healthy movement in others. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys singing, dancing, laughing, and learning.

Session Types

If the problems you came in for are resolved in less time, your session may conclude sooner. • The practitioner will design a custom treatment sequence for you based on your symptoms and the big picture of your condition. • In addition to standard acupuncture, the treatment sequence will likely include at least one of the following techniques or other techniques: -Scalp acupuncture -Dr. Nancy’s style of acupressure -Hendrickson Method® -Moxibustion -Cupping -Gua sha -Electrical stimulation -Practitioner-assisted neuromuscular re-education exercises.

If the problems you came in for are resolved in less time, your session may conclude sooner. • The practitioner will treat you using Hendrickson Method®, a form of orthopedic manual therapy that combines relaxing, rhythmic oscillations of the soft tissue and joints with muscle energy techniques (METs) for neuromuscular rehabilitation and pain modulation. In this clinic, Hendrickson Method represents a form of acupressure and rehabilitative exercise.
